New morning ritual at the farm. Red fetches her sheep and brings them to the training pen in the middle of the pasture. Maria checks them, cleans their coats, gives them some grain. They are getting to know her, she is learning about them. When we are done, Red goes in and gets them and brings them back to the Pole Barn. It is simpler without the old sheep, quieter and Red is getting these sheep under control. They gave him a rough ride for a few weeks, but he handled it.

Maria plans to sell Bedlam Farm wool next Spring.
