Okay, okay, I know this is a little strange, but I was browsing online for shower curtains and I came across this one, inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s masterpiece of terror, “Psycho.” I loved this movie and saw it a hundred times. It reminds me of a time when skilled filmmakers could scare the wits out of people without thousands of explosions and portals opening up into Hell. Such grace has long been out of style.

I thought this would make a neat shower curtain. I didn’t mention this to the former girlfriend who thinks it’s funny, yet I don’t sense the same enthusiasm for it that I had. I ordered a more stylish and subdued back-up but I have to say I really like the “psycho” curtain. It’s original and the color goes well with the blue. Definitely a conversation starter, though it might discourage guests.  Yes, yes, I know it’s strange, but doesn’t it grow on you?
