We found the sick old sheep lying on her side in the pasture. She could not stand up. We carried her into the barn, gave her grain and some hay and Red has been sitting with her, not moving, just watching her most of the day. We got her up on her feet for a bit and she is sitting up, looking better, eating and drinking. Her eyes are brighter, her breathing steadier. We’ll keep watching. I find it hard to imagine that she will live, but she just might.
