Come with me into this barn, and close your eyes and sense the feeling and emotion here. Perhaps you can help me understand what I am seeing, what I am feeling. It seems like a vigil, a connection, a ritual beyond our time and understanding. Red is a spirit dog, for sure, I knew that from the first day and he sees things that I do not see and feels things I cannot feel.

I am grateful for this gift of feeling, for this reminder to remember what life means, what it is about, what is important and what is not. To let go of things I cannot control and accept life in all of its glory and passion and struggle and challenge. That is a life well lived, I think. A return to adventure. Again and again.
