As I did with Rose, I want Red to see everything that happens on the farm. He might need to move the old sheep if one gets sick or needs some other care or has to be moved. So I brought him out into the pasture where they are. He is a remarkable professional, this boy. He moved up to the sheep and then lay down and did not upset them or try and move them.

He simply presented himself, let them know he was here, seemed to be saying, “look, you will have to do what I say but I will leave you alone.” That was what he seemed to be communicating, in his own words and in his own way. The old sheep seemed to get this. They did not run or fight him.

I am getting excited about the possibilities of video again. I have to think about how to use it. This is my quietest video, it speaks for itself.
