So here’s the couch thing. Dogs are not allowed on our sofas except for the old sofa Lenore has adopted in the middle of the living room. She loves it. I was astonished to see Red join her this morning, so he could be closer to my chair on his right. Lenore has no problems with it. I thought of calling him off, but like so many people who love their dogs bend these rules. Nobody gets on the Victorian sofa and it was pretty sweet to see the two of them sharing a couch.
