The rains have been continuous this Spring, and the meadows look like films of Southeast Asian rice paddies. Chris Barrett came bye with his brushogging tractor and is doing his usual great work. It will take three days. Hopefully, the sheep will arrive from Vermont shortly and go to work keeping it down. The good news is that the fertilizing we did on the pastures last year really paid off – good green grass all the way through the meadow. Some sheep will be very happy.
