The orchid I got Maria is doing well. Happy by the window, mostly out of the sunlight, getting water once in awhile and an ice cube once a week.
Things are moving forward with our New Bedlam Farm. For personal reasons, the sellers need to move up the closing date, and we are going to go ahead and close in mid-July. The last Bedlam Farm Pig Barn Art Gallery Show will be held as scheduled on June 23-24 at the farm (open to the public. No dogs please, and we cannot offer rest facilities or food, alas, only dogs and donkeys and chickens and a beautiful place with great art) and has something of a different meaning. We hope to have sheep and a new dog here by then. Details on Maria’s website.
We have not yet sold the farm, although interest is picking up. Some people are coming to look next week. Sometimes I get nervous – we might be paying two mortgages for awhile – but my wonderful friend Mary Muncil says I should just close my eyes and picture Maria and I at closing, and then in our new home. That works for me. I will miss this farm, I will love the new one. Rebirth is important to me, and I cherish it.
