The new hens got their first look at the donkeys yesterday, and they did not seem enthused.  The donkeys checked them out. The hens came pecking out of the barn for a bit this morning. They keep attacking Fran, so she is separated from them. To me, that is a sign that she is not well. I have to feel a bit sorry for Fran, things just do not seem to be getting easier for her. We’re not quitting on her, though.
