It’s been chilly this week, and Maria and I finished the morning barn chores, and acclimated the new chickens. Maria sat down outside the barn and the three donkeys came scooting over for a huddle, lowering their heads and listening intently. I heard Maria say we had new chickens, and I heard her say we were looking for a new farm and might be moving in the next few months. I did not hear what the response was.
