We worked hard today to bring Fran out of the stupor she was in yesterday. We are determined. Maria is doing the brunt of it.  We took her crate out into the sun and wind, to dry out her wounds. We gave her vitamins and antibiotics. I did my first chicken butt cleaning with warm water and a rag. Maria brought her meal worms and carrot-laced water. The worms got her moving.  She got stronger, began to move around a bit. I got some photos I really like of Maria’s hard work with Fran. She seemed dramatically better this afternoon, got the feeling she is doing all right. I’ll put a photo album up on Facebook.
