The Daily Egg was slightly cracked and leaking a tiny bit, but it seemed to me it would look good on an Iphone, and it did. Eggs are miraculously symmetrical, sculptured things but we usually only see them in cartons before they are boiled and cracked. I like to put them in incongruous settings, so that you are almost forced to see them and scratch your head. I think of each egg as a beautifully sculpted thing, one of nature’s works of art. It definitely stands out against new technology.
