Went out to the barn and spent some time with Simon. He comes in to eat his grain, I bring my Ipad to check on the e-mail and the blog and do some reading. Sweet time. So is a holiday weekend, in hyper-America, which never really rests, the e-mail slows, the phone quiets, even the animals seem to settle. We are spending quiet days, reading, sketching, taking photos, talking, loving and being loved. Life is what you make of it, like the song says.
