And here is a new experience for you and for me. I’m inviting you to take a brief walk with me and Rose.

Here’s what’s happening. It’s up at the top of my road, and I am very cold. It was 3 degrees, and the wind just cut right through me. It hurt to breathe. I was keeping Rose close because cars and trucks sometimes come by the road – one came by just after I started taking the video – and I wanted Rose to stay near me.

She raced up ahead, and then back.

I love walks with her, especially in the late afternoon, when the sun paints so many beautiful shadows and she darts in and out of them, back and forth to me. It’s a short video, a fraction of our walk, but it’s the first video I’ve taken that I like a little bit.
