Gallery 99 will shake up the art world. Art In The Public Eye and Diane Swanson have pulled together photographers, writers, potters, painters, fiber artists, sculptors, woodmakers, and other successful artists who want to see their good works out in the world and into the hands of people who want fine art, but don’t think they can afford any. Gallery 99, a new kind of mobile gallery, is opening today to tell them that they can. Opening reception is 6 p.m. tonight at the Empire State Theatre, on South St. Show runs through Sunday.
