I’ve seen very few white barns, and hardly any as neat and well-tended as this one, near Dorset, Vt. Made me think it was a hobby farm, as farmers rarely have the time or money to keep silos and barns in this shape. In any case, I’ve been taking so many photos of sheep and donkeys lately I needed a change of pace, and I love the shapes here, the way the light hits the barnside and the tiles on the silo reveal themselves.
I realize there are a lot of things going on in my life, and I am head-weary. Need to slow things down for a few days and take some deep breaths. Been writing and writing and writing. I see the words in my sleep, what there is of it.
