Congratulations to Maria. Hew new website, fullmoonfiberart.com is up and running, replacing yesnoquilts.com. It’s pretty neat. I am very excited for her. I think perhaps only I know how much this moment means, not only in terms of her artistry and her life but for her life. She has come far. She will go farther.
Maria has struggled at times to find her voice. She has found it, and it’s base is in the Studio Barn and in her work as an artist. Her new e-mail is [email protected]. All sorts of things are going to be on the new site – bags, quilts, potholders, other stuff.
When I came to Bedlam Farm, one of my dreams for the place was that it be a place of encouragement. Witness my own writing and photography, Mary Kellogg’s wonderful poetry, and Maria’s evolution as a gifted artist with a creative and ascending business. She is as courageous as she is creative. And she has come far, as have I. We have come far together, and our connection was always in part a creative one. So I am taking my sweetheart out to dinner to celebrate the birth of fullmoonfiberart.com and the beautiful evolution of a human being and an artist. Good luck, Maria. I will cheer you on every day.
Maria is evolving in all sorts of ways. She is not only getting married (to me) but is changing her name from Maria Heinrich to Maria Wulf. And she has a column on her website called “Wulf Howling.” Function art you can use from a gifted and loving artist.
