May 2, 2010 – A small number of sheep are enroute to the farm today from Vt. They will summer here, and eat my grass rather than Darryl Kuehne’s. It’s a surprise for Maria in part (she works today and into the night) and doesn’t check on blogs or Facebook). Only a small number of animals are returning. Lulu and Fanny are here and a dozen or so sheep. Rose and I are heading to Merck to help acclimate their sheep and lambs to dogs before the herding trials this summer.
