I forgot how wily and mischievous donkeys can be. Lulu and Fanny slid open the door to the barn, gnawed on some barnwood and ate some flowers in the silo garden. Fortunately we made the hay feeder out of hemlock, one of the woods they don’t like to chew. I am into the book on animal grieving. I feel it’s an important book for me to write, and one that potentially can do good. No preaching in this book. Everybody has to make their own choices. But I have some ideas that I think are new and may be helpful.
