After a couple of months off, Izzy and I are returning to Washington County Hospice Duty. Above, Izzy hangs out with Keith Mann, “Sarge”, the Hospice Volunteer Coordinator conducting a training class for new volunters. Izzy loves Keith.

Izzy and I saw a lot of people die last year, and we needed some time off. Recharged, we are  ready to get back to work. I have to get some shots and a new ID, and then we are ready. I love hospice work, but it’s also something that has to be managed. Izzy has a very special gift for this work, and I don’t want to waste it. Working with Keith, a great friend, is a pleasure. As long as you do your paperwork.
