I took my camera out into the rain for a long walk, and I always seem to end up near cows. They love the camera. Always curious, always hoping for food.
I met Greg, a friend who has a farm in Argyle, when I went to the Argyle United Presbyterian Church today to meet Maria (she takes one of the residents at the group home where she works to Church) and think about the New Year. Greg has some cows, and we talked a bit about whether or not I could house a few of the cows at the farm for awhile. If I moved or sold the place, they could go back to him.
I miss having some animals here, although I do not miss the circus that the farm was. I have grown fond of cows, since living in the country. They know how to meditate, and can teach me something about patience and acceptance. Rose has herded cows and is easy around them. Then there is Frieda…
