Shot with a 100 mm macro Canon lens in a heavy downpour. ISO 200, f/2.8, ss 1/80
I used to go inside when it rains, now I grab the camera and run outside. If you like photographing raindrops, which I do, you have to be out in the rain. The dogs love to go out in the rain, especially Lenore. You hear and see different things out there.

Note. My first photo show, “Portraits Of My Life,” will be held at the Redux Art Gallery in Dorset, Vt., on January 9, from 3 to 6 p.m. The show will run through January and is, of course, open to the public. Still selecting some photos and framing them next week. Hope to sell some relatively cheaply, as in close to $200, others, which are larger, will be more expensive. There is no charge to attend, no obligation to buy anything. My second photo show, “Last Days Of A Dairy Farm,” will be at the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Center (LARAC) in August.
I hope Mary Kellogg will be there to read from her new book of poetry, “Whistling Woman,” and Maria will be there. The Redux sells her potholders and a quilt.
