Training never ends, especially with four very different dogs. I work hard on street training, as I live on a road where people don’t slow down much, whether they see dogs or not. So it’s my responsibility to keep the dogs safe.
I get the dogs in a lie down, say “no street” and go across the road. I reward them with praise and treats for staying, then command “heel,” which brings them across the road. Then I give more treats and praise. They look forward to it.
