I believe the “Soul Of A Dog” can best be understood through a dog’s eyes. Lenore’s eyes are filled with affection and curiousity, Izzy’s with attention and connection, and Rose’s eyes are a window into her ferociously intelligent, attentive, loyal and intelligent spirit. Somehow – I am mulling this – working away from sheep was good for her. She is settled, at ease, moving more freely, more affectionate and playful. Perhaps her work is moving with me from one phase of my life to another. Perhaps that is her soul.
