This family (the father and husband was off at home with the cows) has agreed to let me photograph them on and off during Washington County Fair Week. I didn’t include their name because I forgot to ask them if it was okay to put it up on the website. I know it is, but it is a formality I want to observe. Eighteen cows arrived tomorrow in this stall and they have a trailer right next to it and will be spending the week there.
They are well respected among farmers, and they are border collie lovers.
I’ll get them all tomorrow night, and permission to post their names. They are happy to be photographed, and I am eager to do it. One of my goals in photography this year is more people. The Fair is a good place to start. Maria and I are going tomorrow night, and I will be in the hospice booth too, with Izzy and Lenore, although I’m not sure when. Big book tour week also.
And I need to do another children’s book over the next couple of weeks, and finish up the two I’ve started. Plus my editor is looking at the newest draft of my novel. This is why I need a simpler and more focused life. To do my work.
