Okay, anthropomorphisizing is popular these days, so let’s go with the flow. My dogs, out in the path in the morning, are called to a meeting by Rose.
Rose tells the dogs the farm is for sale, and they will have to find a new life elsewhere.
She hopes she will have things to do. She grasps that life will be different in a new place, off the farm, and wants the other dogs to understand that.
Lenore wonders if the food will be the same. Or perhaps there will be more of it.
Izzy wants to know if he will still get to meet blondes at book readings.
Rose says she will keep an eye out and get back to them.
She says she expects things will be fine either way.
