I sent my novel “Rose In A Storm” off to Random House today. It was time. I’ve been going at it day and night for the longest time, sometimes you just have to let it go. I call it the “rubber book,” as it keeps coming back to me. But I think this is a big step forward, and I hope my editor thinks so too. She’s on vacation, and I’m on book tour, but I had to get it out of the house, or I would never stop fiddling with it. My daughter left for London, but as I called her up for the thousandth time to tell her of a new plot twist, she said, “dad, let it go. Don’t write another word.”
  So that’s what I’m doing. For now.
