Rose on the porch

  August 3, 2009 – Correction on the Poultney Arts and Crafts Fair this Saturday. I said earlier it was only open in the morning, but it runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and I will be there (so will Maria, showing her quilts),  and Lenore all day.
  Got a couple of calls from reporters asking about selling the farm. People use the term “down-sizing” a lot these days, but that doesn’t really explain it for me. I am changing my work and need more time and head space to focus on that. Running a farm with livestock isn’t really a part-time enterprise, and my fiction, children’s books, photography (and new relationship) are. For me, as simple as that. I don’t really see it as a down-size at all, but a change in direction.
