Anne Dambrowski came to work in the garden today, and help me balance the checkbook. She showed me her fencing medals from a tournament last week in Poughkeepsie. She’s never read Marquez, so I loaned her “One Hundred Years of Solitude.” I think she’ll love it, but magical realism is not for everyone. I love watching Anne garden. She loves each flower, and has brought the gardens to life.
