Lenore possesses a rare quality, even in dogs. You cannot look at her and fail to smile. It is her mission and her calling. This has been tested, time and again, all through this sometimes dreary and discouraging winter. Many people went into surgery with photos of Lenore pasted to their walls, or up on their laptops. This surprised me at first, but now, is commonplace. It is no small thing for any creature to make people smile at will.   Lenore takes her work serious. She is the Love Dog, the Hound of Love. a/k/a The Light. She kept love alive for me when I needed it, and supervises love still.
