For the first time, Frieda came into the barn, and out with the sheep. She and the sheep eyed one another, but not too anxiously, and she sat perfectly still while I watered the sheep and checked them out. It was a triumph for Frieda, the first time she has come into the pastures or the barns, or this close to livestock. She couldn’t have been calmer or better. Felt good.
