July 1, 2009 – I feel like I’m living in one of Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s villages. Hot sun all day, rain every evening, storms and lightning. Lenore takes her mud bath every day. The book tour sked for “Soul Of A Dog” is now up on the website for those many of you kind enough to ask about where I’m going.
Met with Chris, Collin, Sarah and Toby at Mannix Marketing today.
We are going to put the Farm Journal up on Facebook in the next day or so. I will not be opening a personal account on Facebook for now, or accepting invitations to link up to other sites or pages. But the Farm Journal will be appearing there. And I can’t handle monitoring topics and messages right now.
We’ll just be beaming the Farm Journal and the photos there, and providing a gateway for people on Facebook to see the site. People will see this website just the way they do now. Nothing will change for people who are not on Facebook, or for that matter, those who are.
We’ve also begun construction on a new site, part of this one, called “Bedlam Farm For Kids,” which will offer daily photos and stories about the dogs and other animals here.
Also streamlining and focus the site, with some new graphics and eliminating some of the clutter.
I’ll keep you posted.
