I’ve always written on a Mac, and my new desktop came today. I like it. Much of my life is tied up in this machine, and my friend, the town past Rev. Robert Rose came by with his kids Emma, Katie, David and Ian and blessed the computer, which is the first time I’ve had the benefit of that.
My other Mac last nearly four years, and got me through three books and 14,000 photographs. So bless it, too. It’s probably going where most of my computers go, to Brooklyn and my daughter Emma. I remember my first Mac, and the floppy disks lying all over the place, and I’m amazed at how sleek and easy this one is. Like many writers, Mac got my into computing, and the digital age.
And they still answer the phone when you call, as I did twice today. I can’t wait to write on it.
