May 27, 2009 – Rainy, cool. Took the dogs for a walk in the woods, got soaked. The Hound of Love came in and hopped up onto the sofa, stinky wet thing that she is, and is snoring peacefully there. This is a perfect writing day, and I am happy to get to work. Rainy days are great for writers – nothing else to do but focus. Later, I will don the raingear and head out into the woods with Maria when she gets home from work, and try and take some drop photos. Tonight, I think I’ll head for Night At The Museum II, because I want to laugh. We are heading out to get some fiber materials for the potholders, pillows and quilts Maria has begun cranking out. She won’t let me put photos up – she wants to sell them herself – but they are pretty neat.
