If you want to learn patience, train a border collie to her sheep or use a macro lens to photography a tiny wildflower on a windy day. Even the slightest movement of air throws off the shot, and I lay on the ground for awhile until this flower – the size of my thumbnail – was still. I loved the rich depth of the yellow, and this is one of the reasons I love photography – it makes me better.
