May 23, 2009 – Bob and John Humiston bring the first load of hay for next winter. This is the earliest I’ve ever gotten hay in the barn. The sheep are shorn, the frozen pipes repaired, and the hay is her. Nice feeling. Great night at the Pawlet Public Library last night. A full house came to see Lenore and me, and to support a wonderful local library. Off to Ticonderoga to see a friend in a fencing tournament in the old fort.
