May 14, 2009- – Cloudy, cool. Got to order hay. Firewood is all in. Working on a Lenore children’s book, and also on my novel. My daughter is coming to visit next week.
  Lenore has many projects ongoing. She is working with Frieda, keeping the bed warm at night, charming the donkeys, befriending the barn cats, finding newer and more inventive ways of eating disgusting things and throwing them up. The farm is quiet these days, peaceful. I love it.
