John Clarks’ Dairy Farm has a week to go before the last cows leave. Yesterday, when I went to take photos, most of the cows were out grazing at mid-day. The barn had an eerie, prescient feel, my first sense of what it will soon be like. Beautiful opportunity for me, crawling around in the muck and mud. I’m going a lot of laundry on this story.
