If you have the right lens, and the right light, the woods are a wonderful place to be right after a long rain. Once the rain stops, you have just a few minutes to catch the drops, especially if the sun is rising behind then. They quickly dry up or drop off, so I have just enough time to tell the dogs to stay and rush back to the farmhouse to get the right lens, in this case a 135 mm. It is always a bit eerie in the forest at dawn, but these temporal raindrops are sweet to catch.
