January 17, 2008 – Mother doesn’t come out of the barn much in this cold, and we feed her wet food and dry twice a day and she has heatlamps to keep her warm but even in the bitterest cold she sleeps way up in the hay lofts, watching for mice and rats. You rarely seem them around this farm.
