I wonder if every artist has a moment when the art in him or her is born, and rises up, as happened to me on Kinney Road last year, framing the barns and farmhouses against the setting sun. It is a spiritual place for me.
  Using a 35 mm lens, I caught the drama and simplicity of life in this sky and barn, I think. Kinney Road never fails me. And now that the farmers there know me, I feel even more comfortable standing out in the road like a fool, dodging trucks and trying to catch the light.
  Kinney Road is a powerful place for me. I changed there, and my life changed there.
