Of all people, I know better than to let a Lab sleep in bed at night. Put them in a crate, I tell people, or get them a dog bed. But when Labs are puppies, they are small and cute and it was a tough winter for me last year and so I let Lenore come into bed at night. Now she is a big dog and she loves her creature comforts and half the night I am hanging off the bed while she snores on the pillow next to me. She is immovable, dug in and heavy as lead. She is the Hound of Love, and the Princess of Entitlement. I must say she does help keep me warm.
