Every Christmas morning, the Argyle United Presbyterian Church, Argyle, N.Y., holds a small Christmas service in the Fellowship Hall of the Church. Pastor Steve McLean says it is his favorite service of the year, because everything who is there really wants to be there. The service includes Christmas hymns and open prayer, where anyone can pray about anything on his or her mind. It was a beautiful service and Steve, who usually gets annoyed with me for taking photos during religious services, was in a good mood and told me to go ahead.
I was especially touched by the gathering of the Black family. Bob Black who conducted a part of the service said he was especially grateful that his entire family was together this Christmas. So I got a shot of them.
