Notebook: Started the bird feeders up, am using the wood stoves more, am entering a period of calm and quiet, for the holidays, and hopefully beyond. Last year, I was racing around a great deal – lots of photos, many hospice visits, and this year, I want to keep doing those things, but also to settle more, to get to know me, to center on the farm more, and on my writing and blogging and photo work.
