September 8, 2008 – Sunny, cool dry. It is rewarding to rise with the sun, as it sometimes explodes dramatically over the hills and the farm, and makes a statement, reminding me to pay attention, value love, be fulfilled, do good and meaningful work, write well, take photos, and the remember, as Philo of Alexandria said, to “Be Kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a great battle.”
