I love this photo, and it’s difficult to tell whether the sky is clearing, or a storm is coming. The way I saw it, the picture was full of promise, the aged barn, a witness to so much life and history, set off against a big and powerful sky. The two things seem to compliment each other, and I choose to see the photo as suggesting great hope. It probably rained right afterwards.
