August 28, 2008 – Izzy and I visited this afternoon with Warren and his daughter Berta, and Izzy is like a member of the family now, rushing into the house, excited to see Warren, cuddling with Roberta.
 They both love him dearly, and he returns the favor. I appreciate the bonds formed in hospice work, for the dog and for me. They are eternal, and rich. Warren is doing well, looking good. I think the worst is over for him. He is a strong and brave men, and he knows what he is about. I am not sure I could have endured what he has endured. I doubt it.
