  August 28, 2008 – A psychiatrist e-mailed me late last night the idea that worry is the misuse of imagination. I think that is true of fear, where we take our creative gifts and turn them on our selves, closing off and hiding the best parts of ourselves and our wishes for our lives and future. Hope, creation and determination seem to me to be more appropriate.
  There are lots of people more talented than me, but not too many are as willful.
