Farm stand

   August 15, 2008 – More rain. The farmers are struggling to cut crops and hay because of the moisture, and more rain is forecast for today. I have nearly finished my next book, Soul of a Dog, focused on Rose and Izzy and the other animals here, and am excited about it. I’m putting in some photos. Today will be a quiet day, writing, reading, centering, I hope. The Washington County Fair cranks up this weekend, and I will be working in the hospice booth and volunteering in the chicken barbecue stand of the Argyle Volunteer Fire Department, in exchange for taking photos. I will also be haunting the fair, taking photos, as I did last year.
  We are setting up the hospice booth Monday, and some photos from Hospice Journal will be in the booth.
