August 12, 2008 – My book tour schedule is up, and soon, I will be carousing around the country, talking about “Izzy and Lenore: Two Dogs, An Unexpected Journey, and Me,” out September 23. I will bring the dogs wherever possible, but will not put them on planes. I am heading through the Northeast, South, Mid-Atlantic States and the Midwest. Come see me and the dogs if you can. Some of the appearances will be hospice fund-raisers, some will be bookstore and media appearances. i am eager to get out in the country and meet the people who read my books and share my life.
  The tour schedule will remain on the site, accessible in the events tag up to the right. Hope to see some of you. The book centers on a year spent with Izzy and Lenore, in which Izzy led me to hospice work, and Lenore taught me a lot about love when I needed it.
